Earth Day is an annual event celebrated worldwide on April 22nd each year as a form of support for environmental protection. The purpose of this commemoration is to raise awareness as inhabitants of the earth about the deteriorating condition of our planet due to climate change and declining environmental quality. Therefore, it is necessary to take steps to protect this planet and invest in making it better for future generations, especially by advocating for policy changes and promoting environmental health.

As a positive step to celebrate Earth Day and as an effort to increase awareness and engagement of all parties in caring for the earth, IMIP, PT QMB New Energy Materials, along with other companies within the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park area with a total of more than 100 participants from approximately 47 participating companies, have taken a very important step to carry out the planting of 1000 trees as an effort to preserve the sustainability of life, which was carried out on April 21^st, 2024, along the wall area of the Fatufia Jetty boundary. This program is expected to ignite the spirit and awareness of the community, especially the younger generation, to love and preserve the earth we inhabit for future generations.

Tree planting is a commitment and tangible action that we need to undertake continuously. Every tree we plant is an investment in the future of our planet because trees contribute to providing clean air, shelter for animals, and everlasting natural beauty, especially to maintain environmental quality in the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park area, where development and growth are extremely massive.

PT QMB New Energy Materials involvement is as one of the companies that consistently support this positive step by actively sending representatives to participate in those activities. Not only of tree planting activities, PT QMB New Energy Materials is also enthusiastic and actively involved in various activities to commemorate Earth Day, which is appropriately held today, April 22^nd, 2024. One of these activities is participating in environmental clean-up movements and actively campaigning environmental messages during new employee inductions, environmental briefings in each department, as well as creating pamphlets distributed across all social media accounts to promote environmental campaigns, especially in cultivating habits and wise use of plastic in daily life, for example, by implementing the 3R principle (Reuse, Reduce & Recycle) and caring for the trees we have planted.
