We have worked tirelessly for "Eliminating Pollution, Recycling Resources" through thick and thin over the last two decades!


GEM recycles more than 30 kinds of scarce resources such as cobalt, nickel, lithium, copper, tungsten, gold, silver, palladium, rhodium, germanium, indium, and rare earth elements. We recycle and process more than 10% of China's total waste Batteries and electronic waste, the recycled nickel resources account for 13% of raw nickel mined in China, while the recycled cobalt resources exceed 340% of China's cobalt mining volume, The recycled tungsten resources account for over 6% of the original tungsten mining volume, making us largest tungsten resource recycling enterprise in China.

GEM has been successively awarded as a national honors such as National Pilot Enterprise for Circular Economy, International Demonstration Base for Circular Economy Education, National Ecological Environment Popular Science Base, National Environmental Education Social Practice Base for Primary and Secondary Schools, and National Green Factory, etc., and we have been honored with the National Electronic Waste Recycling Engineering Technology Research Center and the National Enterprise Technology Center, both of which are dual national-level innovation platforms. Additionally, we have received the National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize twice. Furthermore, we were awarded the "Global Circular Economy Transnational Enterprise Award" at Davos in 2018 and the "Paulson Sustainable Development Green Innovation Award" in 2020. Our success story has been featured in the prestigious international journal "NATURE" as a global waste recycling success case, contributing significantly to the development of a circular economy in China and fostering worldwide green growth.

In recent years, GEM has actively constructed a new energy full-lifecycle value chain model, encompassing "Battery Recycling, Resource Reformation, Material Reconstruction and Battery Pack Remanufacturing", and we have established six power battery recycling and utilization centers in China and South Korea. The manufactured ternary "core" materials — ternary precursor materials — drive 15% of the world's new energy vehicles powered by ternary batteries. Additionally, the manufactured cobalt tricobalt tetroxide materials are used in 20% of the world's mobile phones and 3C products, promoting the global transition of new energy from "green" to "greener" .
