On October 10, 2025, Mr. Achmad Adhitya, Advisor to the Vice President of Indonesia, led a four-member delegation to visit the GEM-ITB-CSU China-Indonesia Joint Research Laboratory , where they were warmly received by the laboratory team.

Accompanied by laboratory staff, Mr. Adhitya and his delegation first toured the Environmental Art Exhibition Zone built by GEM. The recycled plastic-wood corridor, the "Green Hercules" sculpture reshaped from waste metals, the new energy wheel, and the "Rebirth· Infinity" art installation vividly showcased GEM’s creative integration of environmental protectionprotection and art, earning high praise from the delegation. Mr. Adhitya expressed his deep appreciation for GEM’s sustainable philosophy of “Limited Resources, Unlimited Recycling,” and highly commended the company’s remarkable achievements in advancing Indonesia's new energy industry.

The delegation then visited the laboratory’s exhibition hall and research center, where they learned about more than 300 sets of state-of-the-art equipment covering the fields of metallurgy and new energy materials. Among them, Indonesia's first Electron Probe Microanalyzer (EPMA) and digital three-stage innovative reactor system (10L-1000L) attracted particular attention. Mr. Adhitya spoke highly ofthe laboratory's scientific research capabilities, noting that the joint platform has become a benchmark for Indonesia’s R&D and testing in metallurgy and new energy materials.

During the visit, the prayer room and academic exchange hall specially established by the laboratory for Indonesian students and researchers also received positive feedback from the delegation. Mr. Adhitya remarked, "GEM's efforts in technology sharing and cultural integration truly embody the spirit of common growth." He further revealed that Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Vice President of Indonesia, looks forward to visiting the laboratory in person and hopes that more enterprises will learn from this innovative cooperation model to jointly promote the high-quality development of Indonesia's science, technology and industry.
