On October 31, 2024, Labota Village Chief, Mr. Akhmar, led a group of villager representatives along with IMIP's entourage to conduct a visit and exchange at QMB. QMB Deputy General Manager, Mr. Yan Xiaodong, warmly welcomed the guests.

Under the assistance of Mr. Yan Xiaodong, the delegation visited QMB's Nickel Resource Museum, R&D center, as well as GA etc. Labota Village is one of the important parties for QMB. The company hopes to establish closer communication with Labota Village, listen to the aspirations and opinions of residents, understand the needs of the community and implement corporate social responsibility projects and share the benefits of the company's development.

Village Head Akhmar shared some of the challenges facing the village, including a lack of sports facilities and an insufficient number of classrooms. In response, QMB expressed its willingness to assist with the construction of a sports center as well as additional classrooms. In addition, the company also proposed to organize a friendly football match to strengthen the good relationship between the two parties.

After visiting the employees' living area, the delegation noted that this was the first visit of Labota Village residents to QMB. They felt the company's real concern for employee welfare and understood the company's philosophy of “Integration Cultures and Growing Together with Indonesia.”

In closing, the group expressed their gratitude for the company's positive initiatives in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) aspects, and expressed their commitment to work closely with QMB to grow together in the future.
