Morowali, 26 August 2026—PT QMB New Energy Materials participated in the Independence Blood Donation Drive organised by Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) on 19–20 August 2026. The event, held at the IMIP Office, was part of the celebrations marking the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

A total of 24 QMB employees took part as blood donors. In addition, QMB volunteers supported the implementation of the event and distributed merchandise to participating donors.

The blood donation drive was organised in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Central Sulawesi Province, PMI Morowali Regency, PMI Bahodopi District, and the IMIP Clinic. Over the two-day event, more than 400 bags of blood were collected to support blood supply needs in Morowali Regency, particularly in Bahodopi District.

The event also received strong public interest, with the organisers opening up to 500 registration slots for prospective donors.

The initiative was welcomed by Yopi Sabara, Chairman of Commission I of the Morowali Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) and Chairman of PMI Morowali Regency. He expressed his appreciation for the support of various parties in helping maintain the availability of blood for people in need, particularly in Bahodopi District.

QMB’s participation in the initiative forms part of the company and its employees’ involvement in social and humanitarian activities in communities surrounding its operational area. Through the blood donation drive, QMB hopes that the contributions of participating donors will help support people in Morowali Regency who require blood transfusions.
