Morowali, 26 August 2026—PT QMB New Energy Materials provided facility support and competition prizes to SD Negeri 04 Bahodopi to support a series of Independence Festival activities commemorating the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

The assistance was handed over on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, and was used to support the Independence Festival, which took place from 20 to 22 August 2026. The activities involved approximately 708 students from Grades 1 to 6, as well as teachers and parents.

QMB’s support included competition prizes and supplies to support the administration and implementation of the activities. The assistance included notebooks, pens, pencils, daily necessities packages, futsal balls, bottled water, and A4 paper.

A range of competitions was organised as part of the Independence Festival, including a poster colouring competition themed “Green Energy for the Future”, sack races and several other activities involving students from different grade levels and parents.

Through this support, QMB contributed to creating opportunities for students to learn, express their creativity and foster a spirit of togetherness through activities commemorating Indonesia’s Independence Day.

SD Negeri 04 Bahodopi is one of the schools supported through QMB’s corporate social responsibility programme. In addition to supporting educational facility needs, the company also works closely with the school through various educational and community activities.

The support for the Independence Festival forms part of QMB’s efforts to continue building relationships with communities surrounding its operational area, particularly by supporting activities involving children and the education sector.
