Morowali, 25 Juni 2026—World Environment Day (WED) serves as an important occasion to raise awareness and encourage collective participation in environmental protection and management. To commemorate World Environment Day 2026, PT QMB New Enegy Materials (QMB Group) actively participated in a series of activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and supporting sustainable development.

The events featured a range of activities, including the Environmental Knowledge Quiz Competition, Painting Competition, Run for Nature and Tree Planting, Green Open Space Competition, Waste Recycling Activities, and concluded with an Awarding Night. Through these initiatives, the company sought to enhance understanding of the importance of environmental protection, inspire creativity in conveying environmental messages, and promote environmentally responsible lifestyles.

As part of the World Environment Day celebration, QMB Group employees participated in the Run for Nature and Tree Planting activities. The event symbolized a shared commitment to improving environmental quality through reforestation while encouraging employees to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.

In the Environmental Knowledge Quiz Competition, QMB Group represented by PT ESG New Energy Material, won Second Place after successfully competing against teams from various companies within PT Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP).

The achievement reflects not only the team's strong collaboration and individual capabilities but also the employees' knowledge and understanding of environmental protection and sustainable environmental management.

In addition to its success in the Environmental Knowledge Quiz Competition, QMB Group also secured Second Place in the Green Open Space Assessment within the IMIP area. The assessment was based on several criteria, including cleanliness, tidiness, functionality of green areas, plant diversity, as well as the maintenance and sustainability of the company's green open spaces. The recognition demonstrates QMB Group's commitment to maintaining a clean, green, and sustainable working environment.
