Environmental health is one of the key factors in improving the quality of life of the community. The persistence of poor sanitation management practices such as improper waste disposal, inadequate clean water management, inconsistent implementation of healthy living habits, and health issues caused by coal dust has drawn the attention of PT QMB New Energy Materials and other stakeholders in carrying out their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
As part of its commitment to supporting public health improvements in the areas surrounding its operations, PT QMB New Energy Materials organized an educational activity on environmental sanitation and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). This program was carried out through the collaboration of PT IMIP’s CSR Department, PT QMB New Energy Materials, the Labota Village Government, the Morowali District Health Office through Bahodopi Community Health Center (Puskesmas Bahodopi), and the people of Labota Village.
The activity aims to raise public awareness about the importance of proper environmental sanitation, educate the community on the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in daily life, and encourage active community participation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment .
