As part of the company’s commitment to supporting the improvement of public health quality in the areas surrounding its operations, PT QMB New Energy Materials, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, conducted a Socialization and Education on Environmental Sanitation and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in Kurisa Hamlet, Fatufia Village, on Wednesday, October 15th , 2025.

This activity aimed to enhance the community’s knowledge and awareness of the importance of implementing clean and healthy lifestyle within the household environment. The socialization session featured speakers from the Bahodopi Community Health Center (Puskesmas Bahodopi), who provided in-depth explanations of various aspects of PHBS (Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Behavior), including maintaining household environmental cleanliness, the importance of consuming clean water, household waste management, and the practice of healthy living habits in daily activities.

The event was attended by approximately 60 participants, consisting of residents of Kurisa Hamlet and members of the Kurisa Hamlet Village Consultative Body (BPD). During the activity, participants showed great enthusiasm and actively engaged in the discussion sessions, sharing experiences and asking questions related to the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) within their families. Through this activity, it is expected that the community will gain a deeper understanding of the important role of families in creating a healthy and comfortable environment, as well as develop positive habits that support sustainable improvements in public health.

At the end of the event, goodie bags containing hand soap, laundry detergent, and hand sanitizer were distributed as part of the effort to support the promotion of clean and healthy living habits. This program is part of PT QMB New Energy Materials’ ongoing commitment to supporting social development and public health in the Bahodopi District, particularly through collaboration with local health institutions in educating the community about healthy lifestyle behaviors.
