Through the IMIP Area Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, PT. QMB New Energy Materials is committed to supporting environmental conservation and sustainable waste management programs in its operational areas. In line with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, the company orgnized the handover of segregated waste bins and carried out waste-sorting awareness activities in schools. This program was held on Wednesday, September 24th , 2025, with the support of various parties, including the IMIP CSR Department, the PELITA Community, and Mekarti Public Elementary School.

The objective of this initiative is to raise public awareness_particularly among elementary school students_about managing waste at its source by distinguishing different types of waste, thereby reducing environmental pollution and encouraging recycling practices. In addition, the program provides waste management facilities in the form of segregated bins (organic, inorganic, hazardous, and residual), enhances public awareness especially among school communities of the importance of early waste sorting, delivers education on the types of waste and their management, and supports local government programs in fostering a clean and healthy environment.

Through this CSR initiative, PT QMB New Energy Materials aims to enhance public awareness and participation, particularly among school communities, in maintaining environmental cleanliness. This activity is part of the company’s commitment to realizing sustainable development and supporting government programs on effective waste management. PT QMB New Energy Materials also hopes to foster closer collaboration between companies in the IMIP area and local communities in preserving environmental cleanliness and sustainability.
