The Duan Wu Festival, also known as Duan Yang Festival or the Dragon Boat Festival, is one of the four major traditional festivals in China and carries a profound legacy of historical and cultural richness. To promote outstanding traditional Chinese culture and foster a festive atmosphere, QMB held a themed event for the 2025 Dragon Boat Festival on May 29,2025. The event was attended by both Chinese and Indonesian employees, who together experienced the traditions and charm of the festival.

At the event, staff members used visual displays and live explanations to introduce the origins, customs, and cultural significance of the Dragon Boat Festival, helping Indonesian employees understand the significance of this traditional Chinese celebration. Afterward, participants joined in making rice dumplings, by preparing bamboo leaves, filling them with glutinous rice, and tying them with string. Chinese and Indonesian employees interacted and collaborated, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

This event not only allowed employees from both countries to enjoy the festive joy in a relaxed and cheerful setting, but also deepened mutual understanding and appreciation. It highlighted the harmonious cultural integration at QMB and further promoted the company's commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
