Badminton is known as the "national sport" in Indonesia and is highly popular among the people, making it one of the most representative sports in the country. Since the launch of this tournament, it has sparked great enthusiasm among employees to participate, with nearly 90% of the participants being Indonesian. The atmosphere at the event was lively and filled with excitement. After 10 days of intense competition with a total of 148 matches, QMB’s first badminton tournament themed “Flying Together, Climbing Higher” officially concluded successfully on May 27, 2025, at the Industrial Area Sports Center.

In the men’s singles final, Agus Mulyadi clinched the championship with his aggressive playing style. Wigra and Arxhel Septino Faril Nanda won second and third place respectively. In the women’s singles final, Audri Wulandari delivered a brilliant performance, scored 19 points in the deciding set to take the championship. Stella Sadheli and Susan (Zhong Su Shan) finished as second and third place. In the mixed doubles final, the pair Ardi and Stella Sadheli demonstrated strong teamwork and clinched the championship, followed by Wigra and Susan in second place, and Zhang Shu Peng and Dessy in third place respectively.

At the closing ceremony, the company’s management presented certificates of honor and cash prizes to the outstanding players, offering heartfelt congratulations for their remarkable performance on the court. Each match was not only a sporting contests but also a moment of connection between Chinese and Indonesian employees. From the fighting spirit on the court to the the joyful interactions off the court, those shining moments transcended the competition itself, becoming a bridge of warmth and cross-cultural understanding.
