Thanks to the care and support of Chairman Xu Kaihua and the Group, the special New Year consolation event for QMB employees in Indonesia has successfully concluded. This event was specially organized to bring the families of QMB overseas workers to Indonesia for a reunion, allowing them to personally experience QMB development achievements and gain a deeper understanding of their loved ones’ work and living environments.

On January 20, more than 40 family members participating in the visit gathered in Jingmen, officially beginning their journey. They toured the GEM Jingmen Industrial area, gaining insights into GEM Group’s industrial development and a clearer understanding of QMB explorations and achievements in the field of resource recycling. Professor Xu Kaihua, Chairman of GEM Group, hosted a banquet, inviting the families to share a meal in a warm and harmonious atmosphere.

Crossing mountains and seas, reuniting with love. On January 23, the families departed for Manado, Indonesia, to embark on their overseas visit.

In Indonesia, the crystal-clear seas and blue skies of Manado warmly welcomed the visiting families. They explored the world-famous snorkeling paradise of Bunaken Island, immersing themselves in Indonesia’s unique natural beauty. Upon arriving at the QMB area, they witnessed firsthand the achievements created by their loved ones' hard work overseas and joyfully celebrated Chinese New Year's Eve at a cultural Integration gala, experiencing QMB warm hospitality.

Following this, the families visited the historic Bandung Conference site, where they personally felt the enduring spirit of the Bandung Conference, passed down for 70 years. They also toured the GEM-ITB-CSU Tiongkok-Indonesia Joint Research Laboratory, witnessing the remarkable achievements of Tiongkok-Indonesia technological cooperation. In Jakarta, they explored Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, gaining deeper insights into Indonesia’s history and culture while experiencing the country’s unique traditions, further enhancing their understanding of the overseas work environment of QMB employees.

Filled with joy and satisfaction, the visiting families returned to Tiongkok on February 2, marking a successful conclusion to the consolation event. This event not only allowed families to deeply experience Indonesia local culture but also enabled them to personally appreciate the significance of their loved ones' hard work abroad. They gained a greater understanding and recognition of their dedication and sacrifices.
