After 56 days and 48 matches full of fierce competition, all matches of the 2nd QMB “Recycling Cup” Basketball Tournament officially ended! On January 3, 2025, the award ceremony was held with great fanfare in the QMB area. The team representing the Smelting Center was dominant, achieving a resounding victory and being crowned the champion. The chairman of the GEM Group, Professor Xu Kaihua, presented the awards to them. The representative team from the Post-Treatment Center, with outstanding physical strength and indomitable fighting spirit, took the runner-up position. GEM Group Executive Deputy General Manager Zhou Bo honored them. Meanwhile, the representative team from the Materials Manufacturing Center took third place thanks to its players' outstanding abilities and solid teamwork. Peng Yaguang, Deputy General Manager of GEM Group and General Manager of QMB, presented the award.

Other awards were also announced one by one. Yan Nonghan of the Materials Manufacturing Center was named “Best Referee” for his professional officiating skills. Liao Kang from the Smelting Center earned the title of “Top Score” thanks to his outstanding playing and scoring abilities. Representative teams from the Construction Department and Innovation R&D Center received the “Sportsmanship Award”. The joint team of QMB and the Information Department received the “Cultural Fusion Award”. Meanwhile, the “Best Organization” award went to the Finance and Audit representative team and the team from the Logistics and Warehousing Center.

Although the tournament has come to an end, the team spirit of solidarity, perseverance, and fighting spirit is deeply engraved in our hearts. Thanks to the passionate cooperation of the 11 teams, the tournament showed not only a high quality of play but also a unique style. The friendship and trust between colleagues from China and Indonesia have created a culturally colorful and extraordinary match.
