Employees are the foundation of a company's development and its most valuable asset for progress. To better understand the concerns and needs of Indonesian employees in their work and life, on the evening of November 16, 2024, QMB successfully held the first Cultural Integration Talk Session of 2024 with the theme "Listening to Employees' Voices, Promoting Cultural Integration" at the Indonesian employee cafeteria. The event was attended by QMB Deputy General Manager, Yan Xiaodong, as well as department heads and over 150 employees from Indonesia and China.
Yan Xiaodong encouraged all participants to actively engage, speak openly, share their aspirations, and provide valuable input for the company's development. During the open discussion session, the atmosphere was dynamic, with employees eagerly expressing their views. Around 50 suggestions for improvements were raised, covering topics such as the work environment, leave systems, living facilities, and transportation. In response to employee feedback, department leaders addressed each suggestion and discussed solutions with the employees.
This talk session successfully built a communication bridge between employees and management, demonstrating the company's high regard for its employees. Going forward, cultural integration sessions will expand to the division level and production lines to hear more voices from employees on the ground. The aim is to optimize the work environment, build sustainable green homes, promote cultural integration, and better support the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles.
