On October 14, 2024, the inauguration ceremony of the Luban Jingchu Workshop in QMB, Indonesia, was held in a grand manner at the QMB area. The event was attended by Ms. Xu Xiaolan, Chairperson of the Changjiang Academy of Arts and Engineering, Mr. Achmanto Mendatu, representative of the IMIP area, Professor Xu Kaihua, Chairman of GEM Group, and Ms. Wang Min, Co-owner and Director of GEM Group.
In her speech at the inauguration ceremony, Chairperson Xu Xiaolan emphasized that the Luban Jingchu Workshop would adopt an innovative model of "Mandarin Language + Skills + Culture" and build a "Three-in-One Hub" in collaboration with QMB. The cooperation will include promoting the Mandarin language, technical training, talent development, and cultural exchanges in various fields. She highlighted that the workshop would be guided by the spirit of "unity, friendship, and cooperation" from the Bandung Conference and will actively adhere to the concept of a shared future for mankind, fostering deep cooperation between China and Indonesia.
Mr. Peng Yaguang, Deputy General Manager of GEM Group and General Manager of QMB, expressed full support for the activities of the Luban Jingchu Workshop, especially in Mandarin language training, technical talent development, and the dissemination of Jingchu intangible cultural heritage, which would significantly contribute to the sustainable development of QMB. He also noted that the workshop would not only help the company in developing skilled talents but also play a crucial role in strengthening friendly exchanges and cooperation between the company and the local Indonesian community.
In his speech, Mr. Achmanto Mendatu, representative of the IMIP area, thanked Professor Xu Kaihua for his contributions to the development of the new energy industry in Indonesia, the training of metallurgical talent, and the establishment of laboratories. The establishment of the Luban Jingchu Workshop will provide continuous support for the development of skilled technical talent for the company and the surrounding community, promoting sustainable development in the area. He also affirmed that the IMIP area would assist the workshop in collaborating with various universities in Indonesia to make it a model for China-Indonesia vocational education cooperation.
Following this, the distinguished guests jointly inaugurated the Luban Jingchu Workshop in QMB, officially announcing its establishment.
