In joyous celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, we come together to further promote the remarkable traditional culture of the Chinese nation. As the Mid-Autumn Festival of 2023 approached, a DIY mooncake-making event was organized by the Cultural Integration Center and jointly initiated by the Logistics Service Center on the morning of September 29th in the cafeteria. This event served as a way to extend warm Mid-Autumn greetings to the employees at QMB.

Before the start of the activity, the staff arranged the tools needed for making mooncakes, such as pastry, filling and molds, in a neat manner. At the activity site, experienced staff patiently explained to everyone about the process, techniques and skills of making mooncakes. During the activity, everyone gathered around the table filled with various mooncake ingredients, "When making mooncakes, you must not use brute force, your hands must be flexible." Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, everyone started to make them, mixing the dough, rolling the balls, dividing and cutting, and wrapping the filling ...... "The DIY dough is healthy, and the homemade mooncake crust, with sweet but not greasy filling, is really awesome." We are all talking to each other while kneading the dough and discussing the practice, sharing their own creative "works".

Colleagues who attended the event helped together to prepare a mooncake with good meaning and various flavors for the colleagues on duty during the festival, and delivered this warmth to every employee on site. Joyful atmosphere permeated the activity, warm words were delivered in the delicious flavor, and the sweet and soft mooncakes recorded the interesting moments of everyone.

The handmade mooncake making activity demonstrated the charm of Chinese traditional culture, promoted the integration and interactive communication between Chinese traditional culture and local culture, and deepened the friendship between Chinese and Indonesian employees through festive ceremonies, interpersonal communication and emotional transmission.
