Across thousands of miles, a rice dumpling conveys love. On June 17, 2023, the Dragon Boat Festival condolence activity for the families of overseas employees of QMB was held in Jingmen Park. Prof. Xu Kaihua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, warmly received the representatives of the families of the overseas employees and hosted a banquet to thank them for their great support to GEM and the soldiers fighting overseas!

The continuous drizzle couldn't dampen the high spirits of the families of overseas employees! In the afternoon, they visited various facilities in the QMB area, including GEM "Urban Mining" Museum, the environmentally-friendly Electronic Waste Processing Center, the ternary power battery material manufacturing center, the Low Carbon Zone Two within the QMB area, and the third zone. They strolled through the green ecological area, experienced the vibrant production atmosphere, and delved deeper into GEM green development philosophy, which emphasizes "limited resources, unlimited circulation." They also gained a better understanding of GEM outstanding development achievements in upholding the concept of "developing new energy materials, exploring urban mines.

Furthermore, Lu Xijin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GEM Group, along with Ma Lin, Acting Executive Director of the QMB Regional Management Committee, met and discussed with the families employees from the overboard group. They introduced the developments and management models in QMB Indonesia and listened to their feedback and suggestions. The families of foreign employees can understand the work and living environment of their family members in QMB Indonesia through videos, photos, and other forms of communication. They appreciate the comfort and facilities provided by GEM, and pledge to continue supporting the work of their employees as they always have.

The green moxa leaves wrapped up the longing across the miles of mountains and seas, and the crude tea and rice contained Chairman Xu Kaihua's heartfelt wishes. In the evening, representatives of overseas employees and their families celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival through video link. Adults wrapped rice dumplings neatly, children tirelessly "set the circle", and told each other how much they missed each other with their relatives overseas, the scene was full of laughter and affection.

In the end, Chairman Xu Kaihua celebrated a dinner together with the families of foreign employees and took a photo together as a token of appreciation for their exceptional dedication.
