From January 25 to February 1, 2024, the 3rd CMMAI-GEM-CSU Joint Master Class in Metallurgical Engineering (hereinafter referred to as the "China-Indonesia Joint Master Class") visited GEM. A group of 28 Indonesian students successively visited GEM's sites in Jingmen, Wuhan, Jiangxi, Wuxi, Taixing, and Shenzhen(Headquarters). The visit allowed students to learn about GEM's outstanding achievements in the field of circular economy and new energy, learn more about metallurgical technology knowledge, and experience the infinite charm of the green recycling industry.

A total of 28 Indonesian students visited the "City Mining" Museum, "Double Carbon" Museum, "Cobalt" Industrial Museum, and Waste Art Theme Park to study the layout and development of the company's core business. The students also visited key research institutes to learn about the company's innovation system construction and key technology research and development. They also visited the green production workshops in each region to learn about the manufacture of raw materials and new energy materials, battery recycling, and other processes, which combined theoretical knowledge with industrial practice, allowing the knowledge gained from textbooks to be understood "hands-on".

On the evening of January 26, as a welcome to the 3rd batch of China-Indonesia joint master's program students visiting GEM, a culturalintegration dinner for GEM Metallurgical Technology international students was held at the Jingmen Park Staff Activity Center. About 100 international students, including the 2nd and 3rd batch of China-Indonesia Joint International Master Class students, attended the dinner. Professor Xu Kaihua, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, attended the dinner, expressed his congratulations to all the international students, and exchanged ideas with the trainees on the topic of "Learning Metallurgy and Pursuing the Dream of New Energy".

At the Cultural Integration Dinner, Pongajow Viola Dheena (Indonesia), an outstanding student representative of the 2nd Batch China-Indonesia Joint Master's International Class, and an outstanding student of the GEM Chinese Training Camp (Batch I), demonstrated her Chinese learning results. Therefore, Chairman Xu Kaihua encouraged the students of the 3rd Batch China-Indonesia Joint Master Program to feel the power and charm of the Chinese training camp and learn Chinese well during the coming 3 months at the Chinese language training. Chairman Xu Kaihua said that all the international training students gathered at GEM because of the same "metallurgical dream", and he believes that under the leadership of GEM's excellent professional lecturers and the development of superior metallurgical technology, it is expected to achieve a great results. Learning metallurgy well, and pursuing the dream of new energy!

During the visit, the Indonesian students enjoyed the scenery of China's major cities and are looking forward to learning metallurgical technology as well as more comprehensive Mandarin language learning.
