On 18th June, 2016, Li Li and Luo Xiaoli, inspector and director of  Department of Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, accompanied by director Wang Jiabin, vice director Zhang Qingchun, division of energy saving, Economic and Information Technology Committee Hubei province, visited GEM(Wuhan) recycling industrial park. Zhou Jifeng, vice general manager of GEM group, warmly receipted inspector Li Li and his party, and accompanied them to visit Wuhan GHM Auto Parts Remanufacturing Co.,Ltd, GEM (Wuhan) “Urban Mining” Museum, the intelligent information monitoring platform, ELV (End-of-Life Vehicle) and WEEE green dismantling workshops.

In GHM, vice general manager Zhou Jifeng detailedly introduced the competitive advantage of quality and price of remanufactured auto parts such as generators produced by GEM and Japan’s Mitsui comparing to traditional auto parts, as well as the industrial competitiveness and capacity planning. In “Urban Mining” Museum, vice general manager Zhou Jifeng introduced national ministry leader’s concern and support to GEM, and detailedly explained the TV display wall which concentrate the development history of domestic TV, waste battery and scrap cobalt, nickel and tungsten rare metal resource recycling industry chain, and patents and standards hold by GEM. On the intelligent information monitoring platform, inspector Li Li scanned two-dimensional code of Huishouge on site, ask GEM’s recycling channel and region of various waste materials, and watch Jiangxi, Jingmen, Tianjin, Henan and other parks’ real-time monitoring image. In ELV and WEEE green dismantling workshop, vice general manager Zhou Jifeng introduced GEM’s national layout and processing techniques in ELV and WEEE field to inspector Li Li and his party. Vice general manager Zhou Jifeng expressed GEM’s expectation of involved in creating “Wuhan Green Valley” and taking Wuhan as a base to construct Sino-France circular economy demonstration park, which was affirmed and supported by inspector Li Li.

Zhang Xiang, assistant general manager and vice director of innovation driven leadership team, accompanied the visit.
