In the morning of June 4th, 2016, Mr. Syful Asrab, the inspector from the Ministry of Environment & Forests of Bangladesh, visited GEM (Jingmen) industrial park. Mr. Lu Xijin, the vice general manager of GEM Co., Ltd., received him warmly and guided a visit to GEM “Urban Mining” museum, WEEE dismantling workshop, PCB green dismantling workshop, power battery precursor production workshop and three-waste treatment workshop. During the visit, Mr. Lu Xijin introduced GEM’s environmental friendly treatment processes and harmless environmental management system in detail. Mr. Syful Asrab showed great interest in GEM’s circular industry and highly praised GEM’s production level.

In the following discussion, senior executives detailed introduced GEM’s industry concept, the development history, core competence, China’s Green Development opportunity, the advanced technology and management in circular field, and experiences to promote Chinese green technology to “go abroad”. Mr. Syful Asrab said, under the background of China’s “One Belt One Road” initiative strategy, GEM as the qualified foreign assistance company which recognized by the Ministry of Commerce of China, Bangladesh would like to cooperate further with GEM in the field of environmental protection.

Ms. Miao Youping, the director of GEM’s ELV Industry Strategic Development Center was accompanied in the discussion section.
