In the afternoon of April 19th, 2016, Mr. VICENTE DE LA O LEVY, the president of Cuba Electronics Group, Mr. ELGIN FONTAINE, business manager of Cuba Electronics Group, Mr. GUILLERMO GARCIA, chief representative of Beijing office of Cuba Electronics Group, Mr. JORGE CARLOS ABAYFERNAN DEZ, technician of Cuba Electronics Group an d other guests visited GEM(Wuhan) Recycling Industrial Park. Managers in charge of GEM(Wuhan) Recycling Industrial Park warmly receipted president VICENTE DE LA O LEVY an d his group, an d accompanied them to visit GEM (Wuhan) “Urban Mining” Museum, the intelligent information monitoring platform, ELV (End-of-Life Vehicle) an d WEEE green dismantling workshops.

In GEM (Wuhan) “Urban Mining” Museum, the manager introduced GEM’s six main recycling industrial chains an d the overall layout of GEM(Wuhan) Recycling Industrial Park in details to president VICENTE DE LA O LEVY an d his group, explained the WEEE "urban mining" which take the Himalayas as the design prototype, "gold mine wall" of PCB, ELV recycling an d auto parts remanufacturing. When president VICENTE DE LA O LEVY saw the former Soviet Union IZh car collected in the museum he was very surprised, he said excited:“ Nowadays, most Cuban still use such kind of "classic cars", while these cars in China were already in a museum or have been scrapped, China"s development is super fast!

In the subsequent seminar, the park manager introduced in details of GEM Group"s development history, recycling culture, main business, technical strength, industrial layout, international cooperation, future development, etc. to president VICENTE DE LA O LEVY an d his group.

Firstly, the president VICENTE DE LA O LEVY thanked GEM"s hospitality. He also expressed that this visiting is a great harvest; the president highly recognized GEM"s achievement in waste batteries an d precious metal recycling, WEEE’s green treatment an d comprehensive utilization of ELVs. He mentioned that WEEE dismantling industry in Cuba is still blank now; he hopes GEM could keep a close contact with the Cuban side an d promote to establish cooperative relations.
