On the morning of 26th November 2015, accompanied by the leaders from Economic and Information Committee of Guangdong Province, Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, Mr. Li Li, the inspector from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), visited GEM headquarter in Shenzhen. Mr. Ouyang Mingzhi, the deputy general manager of GEM, warmly received our distinguished guests.   

Mr. Ouyang Mingzhi introduced GEM’s circular industry layout and advanced technology and equipment strength, and showed GEM’s power battery material, cobalt nickel tungsten, gold and silver, WPC and other recycling products to Inspector Li Li through intelligent information monitoring platform. Then, the manager of GEM Technology Development Center detailed introduced GEM’s industrial development, technical advantage, recycling and remanufacturing of waste batteries and vehicles power batteries to Inspector Li Li. After listening the reports from GEM CO., Ltd and Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd, Mr. Li Li explained the purpose of this investigation, and hoped to get some suggestions for vehicle power batteries recycling industry from the waste battery recycling enterprises through the investigation.

Mr. Ouyang Mingzhi expressed his warm welcome to Inspector Li and other guests, and gave policy suggestions on vehicle power batteries recycling and cascade utilization. He also expressed that GEM will actively cooperate with this investigation, continuing do contributions to waste batteries and vehicle power batteries recycling and cascade utilization.

During the meeting, the leaders and enterprise representatives from MIIT, Economic and Information Committee of Guangdong Province, Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, GEM, and BRUNP had a a in-depth discussion on vehicle power batteries recycling and cascade utilization.
