During the 3rd to 5th August 2015, representatives from REMONDIS & TSR, Two German Companies, who were accompanied by Prof. Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM Group and other senior leaders, visited GEM’s major industrial parks in Xiantao, Jingmen and Wuhan. Both parties disused the issues on cooperation in details.     

On the 3rd, Jiang Zhenkang, the vice general manager of GEM Group accompanied our guests from REMONDIS & TSR to go to GEM (Xiantao) Recycling Industrial Park. The representatives went to the ELV dismantling sites in villages to understand the process status of scrapped automobile in rural area. Then, the guests entered GEM (Xiantao) Recycling Industrial Park, paid high attention on the factory functional planning, environmental protection measures and construction progress in detail. The guests generated a strong interest on the GEM (Xiantao) Recycling Industry Park’s new business model and development direction.

On the 4th August, the representative divided into two groups, a group was TSR’s representatives and President Xu and other senior leaders of GEM Group, they had a seminar in Wuhan GEM. The other group was REMONDIS representatives. They were accompanied by senior management team, made a field visit to Jingmen GEM and Wuhan Recycling Industrial Park.

On the morning of 4th May, Dr. Dirk Wittenberg, the general manager of water business of REMONDIS, who was accompany by the head of Environmental Protection Department of Wuhan GEM, visited the Urban Mining Museum, e-waste dismantling workshops, ELV  processing workshop, waste battery recycling workshop, tungsten resource recovery plant, waste plastic recycling workshop and the waste water, residue and sludge treatment center. They also inspected the Zhupi River Basin in Jingmen City. The e-waste harmless treatment process, a global leading technology for printed circuit board processing, waste battery recycling, and the ELV processing system of "Streamlined, Mechanization, Harmlessness, Reutilization, Informational and Educational”, were introduced to Dr. Dirk Wittenberg. He had an full experience of GEM’s waste recycling industry development. Finally, the sewage treatment technology of Jingmen GEM was introduced to Dr. Dirk Wittenberg. He was willing to make a in-depth communication on the advanced technology and management experience.

On the afternoon of the 4th, REMONDIS’s guests visited GEM (Wuhan) Recycling Industrial Park. The of Wuhan GEM made a warm reception to the guests, guided the tour to Urban Mining Museum, intelligent information monitoring platform, ELV processing workshop and e-waste disassembly lines and introduced the six aspects of ELV processing modes, world"s advanced dismantling design and the largest shredding system in China and advanced e-waste three-dimensional processing system to the guests.

During the visit, Hu Daoyin, deputy director of the Hubei Provincial Office of Commerce met TSR representatives. Director Hu introduced the ELV processing status in Hubei and ELV processing policy in China. He was more than welcome TSR to Human to make a cooperation on the scrapped auto processing business with GEM.

After the visit, on the 5th, the representative from REMONDIS, TSR spend whole day on further communication with the senior leader of GEM Group, which laid a good foundation for future cooperation.
