On the afternoon of 15th May 2015, Wan Yong, vice secretary of municipal party committee, who is the mayor of Wuhan, and other leaders, paid a visit to GEM (Wuhan) Recycling Industrial Park. Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM Group warmly received them and guided a tour to GEM (Wuhan) Urban Mining Museum, intelligent information monitoring platform, ELV dismantling workshop and e-waste processing workshop.

In the GEM (Wuhan) Urban Mining Museum, President Xu introduced in detail about the positioning of GEM (Wuhan) Urban Mining Exploiting Park, reported the invest scale and operation condition of GEM in Wuhan, expressed the determination of making a big remanufacturing business by cooperating with the world advantage technology and the urban agglomeration in Yangtze River and brought up the vision of promoting the renaissance of Wuhan through recycling industries. At the intelligent information monitoring platform, Mayor Wan learned about the ELV internet of things system, watched the real-time production scene of all recycling industrial parks of GEM. Mayor Wan gave highly praise on the nationwide layout and the speed of the development of GEM. Mayor Wan visited GEM ELV green dismantling processes and the auto parts remanufacturing pilot project center, who was accompanied by president Xu. During the period, Mayor Wan gave highly praise of the GEM’s ELV processing models of “streamline, mechanization, harmlessness, reutilization, informatization and educationatization”, the global leading processing equipments and stereoscopic treatment system. Mayor Wan expressed his full confidence inGEM to realize big cycle and big industry in Wuhan.

At last, Mayor Wanhighly affirmed the contributionsthat GEM has made in the field of circular economy in Wuhan, put forward his desire of developing power battery recycling business, expressed his willingness to provide full support for GEM to make strong the cycle industry with the leading of remanufacturing technology in Wuhan. He gave the solutions to the basic conditions requirements which brought up by President Xu on the spot. President Xu appreciated the supports to GEM’s urban mining industry, which provided by Wuhan municipal party committee and municipal government. President Xu also expressed that GEM would continue investing heavily in Wuhan, and made a great contribution to the development of Wuhan and the realization of the renaissance of Wuhan.
