January 16th, 2013, Mr. Xiaodong Wang, the Standing Committee and Executive vice-Governor of Hubei Province, accompanied by Jingmen municipal party secretary Mrs. Ling Wang and mayor of Jingmen Mr. Yong Wan, visited Jingmen GEM Urban Mine Recycling Industrial Park to inspecting the progress of E-waste engineering technology research center construction. Deputy General manager of GEM Mr. Jifeng Zhou showed them around the Jingmen GEM circulation exhibition hall, E-waste disassemble workshop, PCB processing workshop, rare metal experiment center, engineering technology research center and analysis center. Then, Mr. Xijin Lu gave a report about the disassemble process of E-waste.
      Mr. Jifeng Zhou gave them a report of the construction situation of Jingmen GEM Urban Mine Recycling Industrial Park (east), in the circular economy exhibition hall, Mr. Jifeng Zhou introduced Gem’s urban mine resources circulation industry, its resources recycling model, advantages, development prospects, invention patent and technology achievements in at least three respects including the " mine in the city", " forest in the city", "oil field in the city". All the visitors watched the electronic waste disassemble line through the information monitoring platform, and understand the detailed E-waste recycling process.
