On November 8th 2012, at the time of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, president of Association of Chinese listed companies Mr. Qingtai Chen and his delegation, accompanied by the director of Shenzhen securities regulatory bureau Mr. Jinhong Jiao and relevant leaders visited Shenzhen GEM. Chief executive of GEM Prof. Kaihua Xu, company directors, independent directors, supervisors and related staffs participated in the meeting.
    The chief executive of GEM Prof. Kaihua Xu showed them around the WPC exhibits, information monitoring center and honor exhibition hall. On the Meeting, Prof. Kaihua Xu gave the best practice work report of the independent directors and board of supervisors, this report including the basic situation of GEM, the corporate governance, the special committee of board of directors, and the works of external audit institutions.
    Mr. Qingtai Chen was very interested in the development of GEM, which became a listed enterprise from an incubation enterprise in just 8 years. The most pleased is, in the process of development, GEM paid attention to change from a technology center to a financial management and internal control management center, this change for a technical team is more difficult, and could be a standard management reference for many high and technology enterprises. Mr. Qingtai Chen said this is encouraging and he will pay attention to GEM and put forward opinions of the board of supervisors. In addition, Mr. Chen fully endorsed GEM is in the leader of the resources circulation utilization with core technology, he said this is the inevitably choice of the resolve resource and environmental contradiction, and he sincerely hope that GEM can firmly follow the development of urban mine and circulation industry.
