GEM donates 250 sets of desks and chairs to Narong Primary School in Guangxi Province

On May 31st, GEM donates 250 sets of brand-new desks and chairs to students of Narong Primary School in Pingguo County, Guangxi Province, with the cooperation of Shenzhen Municipal Securities Inspecting Bureau and Yitian Branch of Merchants Securities, Shenzhen. The desks and chairs, which are 37,500 yuan in total value, are presents for Children’s Day.
Leaders of Narong Primary School held a simple donation ceremony for the donators. The students also danced for the donators. Donators form GEM asked about the current education situation and difficulties of the school. They expressed their solicitude to GEM’s volunteer teachers in Narong Primary School and asked about the teachers’ living conditions.
