On October 25th, 2011, Mr. Marc Van Sande, Executive vice President; Mr. Hugo Morel, Executive vice President; Mr. Stephan Csoma, Senior vice President of government affairs; Mr. Bernhard Fuchs, President Umicore Greater China and associates paid a visit to GEM recycling industry park in Wuhan, Hubei, accompanied by Mr. Huihu Tang, Deputy secretary general of Wuhan government and Dr. Kaihua Xu Board Chairman and President of GEM and had in-depth discussion on 　　Electronic waste treatment and recycling business of rare metals.
　　Umicore guests highly endorsed the advanced electronic waste dissembling processing technology and management mode of GEM. They said, with the second tour of Wuhan, they would like to carry out more business information exchange and market study with GEM on renewable resources business and technical model, and they sincerely invited Dr. Kaihua Xu to visit Belgium Umicore rare metal recycling base.
　　Umicore guests arrived Wuhan on the 24th Oct 2011 and on the night they greeted by Mr. Xuemang Zhang, vice Mayor of Wuhan and officials from Wuhan Foreign affairs, Wuhan Development and Reform Commission, Wuhan Environmental Protection Bureau, Wuhan Supply and marketing Cooperative, and other related departments attended the friendly meeting.
