On April 15, 2025, a delegation from the Sambalagi and Werea communities visited QMB for an exchange visit, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of the company’s infrastructure development, operational management, and employee living environment.

The visit began with a tour of the Nickel Industry Museum and the R&D Center, where the delegates were introduced to QMB’s achievements in advanced industrial production, technological innovation, and green low-carbon initiatives. They expressed their admiration for the company’s modern management systems and its commitment to sustainable development.

Afterwards, the group visited key facilities such as the Thousand-Person Prayer Hall and ESG-facilities in the residential area. They experienced first-hand various employee amenities including the prayer room, gym, and enjoyed a meal at the halal canteen. During their walk through the residential area, the guests stopped at several designated photo spots to take pictures, capturing the clean and well-organized environment along with the diverse and vibrant atmosphere. They praised QMB’s corporate values of prioritizing employee welfare, respecting religious beliefs, and promoting cultural integration.

During the exchange session, the community representatives were impressed to learn about the concurrent development of employee support facilities in the IGIP park—designed to higher standards with more complete functions. They enthusiastically responded with a resounding “bagus!” and expressed strong support for the development of the IGIP industrial park, believing that the project will positively contribute to local economic growth and improvements in living conditions. They look forward to working together with the company to build a better future.
