On March 11, 2025, the Chairman of Merdeka Board of Supervisors, Winato Kartono (陈传伟), along with his delegation, visited QMB Industrial Park for an inspection and guidance session. The Chairman of GEM Group, Professor Xu Kaihua, warmly welcomed the guests.

Amidst a warm welcome from both Chinese and Indonesian employees at QMB, Winato Kartono and his delegation specifically inspected the ESG project, a collaborative initiative between GEM and Merdeka. As the first HPAL technology production line owned by a local company, this project has successfully integrated Indonesia resource advantages with China advanced technology, setting a remarkable example of cooperation between the two countries.

The guests then visited the ESG Building, where they observed the smart management system in the cloud-based control center and its efficient operational model. They gained an in-depth understanding of how the digital management system precisely controls the entire production process. The project's advanced technology and collaborative capabilities received high praise from the visitors.

Following this, the delegation conducted an on-site visit to key facilities, including the R&D Center, Precursor Production Center, and MHP Product Workshop, to gain deeper insights into how QMB Industrial Park utilizes cutting-edge hydrometallurgical technology for the efficient extraction and utilization of nickel resources.

Additionally, Winato Kartono and his team carried out a field visit to the IGIP (Indonesia Green Industrial Park) in Sambalagi, where they received a comprehensive briefing on the industrial park’s master plan, industrial chain layout, and surrounding community conditions.

During discussions between the two parties, their visions for green development aligned closely.
