From February 16 to 17, 2025, Liu Jingyu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CALB, along with his delegation, visited QMB for a study and exchange visit. They were warmly welcomed by Chinese and Indonesian employees lining the reception pathway. Professor Xu Kaihua, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GEM Group, along with Wang Min, Co-Controlling Shareholder and Director of GEM Group, enthusiastically received the guests. Accompanying the delegation throughout the visit were Jiang Zhenkang, Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of GEM Group, and Peng Yaguang, Vice President of GEM Group and General Manager of QMB.

Chairman Liu Jingyu and his delegation first visited the World-Class Nickel Industry Museum, where they explored the century-long history of nickel and the development of QMB. On this occasion, he wrote the message “Ensuring the Future of Nickel” in the Green Passport, expressing his hopes for the future of the nickel industry. From the Green Observation Tower, the guests enjoyed a panoramic view of the entire industrial park, gaining a comprehensive understanding of QMB industrial layout.

Next, the delegation visited several core facilities, including the Precursor Manufacturing Center and the MHP Production Workshop, to gain detailed insights into the complete production process—from raw laterite nickel ore to new energy materials. Chairman Liu Jingyu highly praised QMB construction scale, rapid development, and industrial chain management. He also specifically commended the professionalism, high efficiency, and execution capabilities of the QMB team, which successfully completed a high-standard project within a short period, providing strong support for the development of the new energy industry chain.

Breaking geographical boundaries, building a carbon-neutral future together! During the visit, Chairman Liu Jingyu and his delegation also conducted an on-site survey of the Sambalagi Industrial Park, gaining in-depth knowledge of its development plans and industrial chain management. Taking into account the needs of battery manufacturers, they provided professional recommendations on industrial synchronization and industrial park development.

This visit further deepened CALB understanding of QMB and the development of new energy material industries in Indonesia, while also serving as a valuable opportunity for in-depth discussions and cross-industry learning. Moving forward, GEM Group invites CALB to collaborate in promoting the high-quality development of the global new energy industry chain and contributing to the sustainability of the new energy industry for a greener future!
