On 24 September 2024, the Zone 1 Director of the Indonesian Ministry of Investment, Mr. Agus Joko Saptono, and the Zone 3 Director of the Indonesian Ministry of Investment, Mr. Abdul Qodir, and their entourage visited QMB to provide guidance and direction. Deputy General Manager of GEM, and General Manager of QMB, Mr. Peng Yaguang, warmly welcomed the guests.

The guests from the Indonesian Ministry of Investment focused on visiting the Nickel Industry Museum and learned in detail the layout of the area and the investment and construction situation of each project. Next, the guests from the Ministry of Investment observed online the High Pressure Center Group and Ternary Precursor Building on the QMB Visiting Platform. They highly appreciated the successful opening of the second stage production line of the high-pressure Hydrometallurgy (HPAL) process, and expressed great expectations for the nickel precursor and cathode material production lines to be built soon.

The guests from the Ministry of Investment thanked QMB for the warm welcome, praised the company's performance in the construction of low-carbon green areas, and hoped that QMB can continue to strengthen the relationship and cooperation with surrounding communities, and continue the progress of the construction of each project, to jointly build “Beloved Indonesia”!
