On August 26, 2023, Professor Xu Kaihua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of GEM Group, together with Professor Pan Feng, Professor Liu Zhonghua, the group’s independent directors, and a group of senior executives visited QMB Park for a visit and inspection. This dynamic visit is not only an affirmation of the development results achieved by QMB Park, but also an opportunity to strengthen cooperation, inherit culture, and create good times.

The group of guests first went to Qingshan Park to observe related businesses such as steelmaking, ferronickel, cold rolling, hot rolling processing production lines and shipping terminals. At 4:30, we arrived at the core landmarks of QMB Park and visited the 3C Plaza, Nickel Industry Museum, Cloud Control Center, International Conference Center and R&D Research Center one by one. At the mineral processing and feeding platform, the guests overlooked the magnificent scene of the overall construction of the park. He also went deep into the production line and inspected the core high-pressure workshop, wastewater testing station, and MHP product packaging workshop to gain an in-depth understanding of the production process and technology application.

During the visit, Professor Xu Kaihua introduced the industrial development layout of QMB Park in detail to the directors, supervisors and senior management, emphasized the positive impact of technological innovation in the nickel ore industry, and emphasized that all production processes in the park implement intelligent interconnection control systems. The scientific research and technical personnel had enthusiastic exchanges with Professors Xu Kaihua, Pan Feng, and Liu Zhonghua, closely linking theory and practice.

Later, the visiting team came to the living area of the park to unveil the long-awaited swimming pool. Professor Xu Kaihua personally witnessed this moment and enjoyed the coolness of the swimming pool with the team members. Amidst the laughter, Director Xu led everyone to jump into the water and swim with the employees. The water stirred up microwaves, which was like a wonderful picture.

In the evening, the team gathered at the song and dance party and kicked off the party with a cheerful dance. The party was not only full of national characteristics, showing the charm of Indonesian culture, but also featured guitar playing, singing, catwalk and other programs, presenting a visual feast to the employees present. Director Xu and the guests also actively participated and sang for everyone. The nearly two-hour performance was filled with singing and applause, and the atmosphere was enthusiastic and unforgettable.

This visit not only demonstrated the development results of QMB Park, but also strengthened the close cooperation of the team. Through the singing and dancing party, it not only inherited the local national culture, but also enriched the cultural life of employees. Professor Xu Kaihua’s care and support for QMB is greatly appreciated by the employees.
