On 9th July, eighth new 79-seat King Long buses arrived at the QMB area. They will soon be used as commuter vehicles for Indonesian employees, operating 24 hours in shifts. The total number of commuter vehicles at the QMB area has now increased to 34 units.
In accordance with Chairman Xu Kaihua’s directive of “Cultural Integration, Growing together with Indonesia”, QMB conducted surveys on Indonesian employees regarding their work and living conditions to understand their actual needs. To address the issues reported by Indonesian employees concerning inconvenient transportation during rainy days and at night, QMB improved their commuting conditions by adding new vehicles and adjusting vehicle schedules and routes. The operation of the new commuter vehicles will effectively reduce employees’ transportation costs and travel stress. Professional drivers, good vehicle performance and standardized management ensure a safe commute for the employees.
The spacious and comfortable buses provide employees with space to rest and socialize during their commute, marking a further improvement and upgrade of the area’s service facilities. This also represents a concrete implementation of the cultural integration concept.
