On the evening of January 22th, Professor Xu Kaihua, Chairman of the Board of Directors and management of QMB Group hosted a dinner event with 30 core Indonesian employees. During this meeting, they planned the development steps for QMB and encouraged Indonesian employees to make a great contribution to the company.

Prof. Xu Kaihua, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of QMB Group, first expressed appreciation for the significant contributions made by Indonesian employees in various positions. He emphasized that 2024 would be focused on more detailed management, increased productivity, and minimizing cost. Indonesian employees were reminded to take responsibility, actively involved, and mastering technology and management. They were expected to undergo a role transformation from interns to experts, engineers, managers and team leaders in 2024, with the goal of bringing 50 Indonesian workers, while realizing the target to create cultural harmony.

Peng Yaguang, General Manager of QMB, encouraged Indonesian employees to remain humble, develop genuine skills,and contribute more to QMB. Wang Yi, Deputy General Manager of QMB, uplifted Indonesian employees by stating, "Here we have one dream, because we have a same name ‘QMB’".

In their response, Indonesian employees enthusiastically shared their perspectives, experiences working at QMB, and expressed deep gratitude to Xu Kaihua and the leadership. Wan Qi, HR Director of QMB Indonesia and the first graduate of the International Master's Program in Material Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Government, GEM, and Central South University, stated his determination to meet expectations and achieve the company's development.

Wu Xiangyi, a student from the second group of the same program and also the Deputy Head of the Jakarta Office at QMB, expressed his gratitude to Xu Kaihua and the company for their educational support. He emphasized that the training program between GEM and the Indonesian Government is mutually beneficial, creating breakthroughs in Indonesia. The laboratory built by GEM in collaboration with the Bandung Institute of Technology has also gained significant attention in Indonesia. Wu Xiangyi hopes that Indonesian employees can make significant contributions to the company, as like as Prof. Xu Kaihua and GEM have contributed greatly to Indonesia.
