To promote cultural integration between China and Indonesia, enrich the spare time life of the company's employees and improve team cohesion, on September 20, 2023, the Cultural Integration Center organized a swimming competition called the "Cultural Integration Competition"  in the swimming pool area.

The swimming competition consisted of three categories: the men's 50-meter freestyle, women's 50-meter freestyle, and men's 4x50-meter freestyle relay. A total of 165 employees from China and Indonesia registered to participate in this competition. At around 16:00, nearly 300 employees gathered at the venue to show their support and cheer on the competing swimmers. In the swimming pool, participants gave their all, competing fiercely, chasing each other, and giving their best. The competition atmosphere was lively and full of excitement.

After more than two hours of fierce competition, finally Wang Jian of Finance Department won the champion of women's single 50-meter freestyle, Zhang Zheng of Sampling Room of Quality Management Department won the champion of men's single 50-meter freestyle, and Aidil, Burhan, Adi, and Anuar of Logistic and Security Department won the champion of men's group 4×50-meter freestyle race.

The success of organizing this swimming competition is not separate from the strong support and cooperation from various departments such as the Administrative Department, Information Technology Department, and Security Department. Together, they have provided a quality competition platform for employees who love swimming. This not only nurtures the competitive spirit and strong determination of all employees but also offers an opportunity to relax and release stress amid the busy work schedules. Moreover, it also contributes to accelerating cultural integration between China and Indonesia and supports QMB's significant goal of building the New Energy Nickel Resource Industrial Park based on "technology + intelligence + environmental friendliness."
