Jakarta, 14 September 2026 — PT QMB New Energy Materials has donated Rp300 million to the Indonesian Pediatric Cancer Foundation (YKAI) to support children with cancer and their families, as part of the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community support.

The contribution is intended to help ease some of the challenges faced by children undergoing cancer treatment and the families accompanying them throughout the process. Beyond medical treatment, families affected by cancer often face additional needs related to transportation, education, daily necessities, and other aspects of family life.

QMB said the initiative reflects its commitment to extending support to communities and individuals facing difficult circumstances. The company believes that every contribution, regardless of its scale, can make a meaningful difference for those undergoing challenging experiences.

Song Wei, Director of the QMB Jakarta Office, expressed his hope that the contribution would provide meaningful support to children with cancer and their families.

“Through this contribution, we hope to provide support and encouragement to children with cancer and their families as they go through this difficult journey. We hope that this assistance can help ease some of the challenges they face,” Song said.

The donation was also recognized by YKAI. On September 4, 2026, Song Wei, accompanied by Ellin Victoria, Deputy Director of QMB, received a Certificate of Appreciation from the foundation in recognition of QMB’s contribution and support for children with cancer.

Through the initiative, QMB continues to demonstrate its commitment to contributing to communities in need and supporting social causes that create a meaningful impact.
