Morowali, 21 March 2026—On this sacred occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1447, QMB and the International Green Industrial Park (IGIP)— part of the GEM Group’s operations in Indonesia—extend their heartfelt wishes to the people of Indonesia. At this meaningful moment —marked by gratitude, forgiveness, and unity— GEM’s two key operations in Indonesia, the QMB Industrial Park and IGIP, organized a series of inclusive and community-oriented Eid al-Fitr activities, reflecting their commitment to cultural respect and social engagement.
QMB: Strengthening Unity Through Shared Celebrations
On the morning of March 21, the QMB Industrial Park held a grand Eid al-Fitr prayer gathering at its on-site mosque. Muslim employees gathered in a peaceful and respectful atmosphere to perform prayers, expressing gratitude and seeking blessings for the future.
Andi Ayu Lestari, a Muslim employee working in the HPAL Manufacturing Department, shared that the company provides not only clean and well-maintained prayer facilities but also continuous support during Ramadan, including daily meals for iftar. Andi expressed appreciation for the company’s attention to employees’ well-being.

Following the prayers, celebrations continued at the QMB halal canteen.. Representatives from the IMIP Religious Committee and Mr. Peng Yaguang, General Manager of QMB, delivered Eid greeting, extending sincere greetings to all Muslim employees at QMB, wishing them continued happiness and success.
Mr. Peng Yaguangstated that Eid al-Fitr serves as an important cultural bridge, bringing together employees from diverse backgrounds. Through its commitment to “Cultural Integration, Growing Together with Indonesia,” QMB reaffirmed the value of diversity, inclusion, and long-term collaboration in Indonesia.
The event concluded with a communal meal, where Indonesian and Chinese employees gathered to share traditional dishes, exchange greetings, and strengthen bonds—highlighting the spirit of unity within the QMB community.

IGIP: Extending Community Engagement and Cultural Exchange
As Indonesia’s first zero-carbon green nickel industrial park, IGIP not only contributes to industrial transformation but also prioritizes community development and cultural integration.
Since its establishment in 2025, IGIP has actively supported local communities through infrastructure development, including prayer facilities, public amenities, and local economic initiatives. The park has also facilitated educational and cultural exchange programs, including visits to China and scholarships for local youth.

In celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447, IGIP organized a series of activities beginning in mid-March, focusing on community outreach and cultural engagement.On March 13, IGIP distributed Eid gift packages to 303 families in nearby villages, including Sambalagi and Were’ea. The following day, management teams visited these communities, providing additional financial assistance and essential goods to support families during the festive period.On March 16, IGIP hosted call-to-prayer and Qur’an recitation competitions for local children, offering scholarships, school supplies, and certificates. These activities provided a platform for youth engagement while fostering closer interaction between employees and the local community.

On March 20, a festive procession involving employees and local residents took place, symbolizing unity and shared celebration. The event concluded with a communal meal at the mosque, further strengthening ties between IGIP and surrounding communities.On the morning of March 21, Eid prayers and gatherings brought together employees and local residents in a spirit of togetherness.
