Recently, GEM successfully obtained dual international certifications: ISO 56005 Innovation & Intellectual Property Management Capability (Level 3) and ISO 56001 Innovation Management System. This makes GEM the first new energy material enterprise globally to simultaneously hold dual innovation management system certifications from both domestic and international standards.

As of November 2025, GEM Co., Ltd. and its core subsidiaries, namely PT QMB NEW ENERGY MATERIALS and JINGMEN GEM CO., LTD., have successfully passed the aforementioned system certifications.

The graded evaluation of ISO 56005 is the world’s first international standard implementation project to deeply integrate innovation management with intellectual property (IP) management, focusing on how IP management drives R&D innovation. The ISO 56001 Innovation Management System Certification is currently the sole global standard used for certifying innovation management, focusing on the institutionalization of an organization’s overall innovation capabilities. These two international standard systems, ISO 56005 and ISO 56001, each have a distinct focus. Achieving this dual international certification signifies that the GEM’s innovation and IP management capabilities in the fields of circular economy and new energy materials have reached a globally leading position.
