On the morning of March 12, 2025, Mr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, the Minister of Industry of The Indonesia Republic, warmly received Professor Xu Kaihua, Chairman of GEM Co., Ltd., and Ms. Febriany Eddy, Director and CEO of PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk, at the Indonesian Ministry of Industry. The three parties engaged in detailed discussions regarding the planning of the "Indonesia Green Industrial Park (IGIP)" cooperation project between GEM and PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk.

Chairman Xu Kaihua expressed his gratitude to Minister Agus. He stated that the remarkable achievements GEM has made in Indonesia in the past are attributed to the strong support from the Indonesian government and the Ministry of Industry. Meanwhile, Chairman Xu Kaihua shared with Minister Agus the basic situation of GEM's global urban mining and development of new energy materials business, the investment in industry and the integration of science, technology, and culture in Indonesia, and the operation of the QMB. Chairman Xu Kaihua also highlighted the development plan of the "IGIP- Indonesia Green Industrial Park". In the future, GEM will enhance the global competitiveness of Indonesia's nickel resource downstream industry chain by building the "IGIP- Indonesia Green Industrial Park" into a world-class green, zero-carbon park for nickel and its downstream industry chain.

President Febriany Eddy expressed to Minister Agus her high agreement with the green concept proposed by Chairman Xu Kaihua. She believes that the "IGIP- Indonesia Green Industrial Park" is the best green solution that can lead the future industrial development of Indonesia on a global scale. Moreover, she is full of confidence in the cooperation between GEM and Vale.

Minister Agus showed his appreciation and high recognition for GEM's industrial investment in Indonesia and its contribution to the "integration of science, technology, and culture". He greatly praised the green and zero-carbon plan for the IGIP Indonesia Green Industrial Park proposed by Chairman Xu Kaihua. Minister Agus stated that he would firmly support the implementation of this project and would attend the groundbreaking ceremony. Finally, Minister Agus warmly invited Chairman Xu Kaihua to take a commemorative photo together.
