On June 17, 2024, Indonesia's Muslim community celebrated another significant festival – Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice. This festival symbolizes unity, compassion, and the spirit of sharing. To fully respect Indonesia's local traditional culture and religious beliefs, and to further promote cultural integration between China and Indonesia, QMB organized a series of Eid al-Adha celebration activities.

On the afternoon of June 16th, QMB donated 4 cows to the IMIP and jointly distributed beef to villagers from 12 surrounding villages on the morning of the 17th. Mr. Djoko Suprapto, the religious affairs officer of IMIP, remarked that he has witnessed not only QMB's development and growth in industry and technology but also its growth and contributions in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) aspects.QMB's Deputy General Manager, Yan Xiaodong, expressed great pleasure in participating in this year's Eid al-Adha celebrations, viewing it as an opportunity for QMB to deepen its understanding of local Indonesian traditional culture. He emphasized that QMB, as a highlight project in the China-Indonesia "Belt and Road" cooperation, remains committed to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) development principles, actively fulfilling its responsibilities as an international enterprise. He hopes to contribute to the healthy development of surrounding communities.
